When it comes to new features in Xamarin, especially Xamarin.Forms I can be a bit like an excited puppy. Xamarin gets me so excited!

So The Xamarin Show released a new Snack Pack Edition yesterday. In it, James does a quick introduction to the new Xamarin Android Device Manager teased recently in the Xamarin Podcast and online with the long awaited “Instant Boot” feature. Anyone that has tried to use Android emulators knows how slow they can be, especially if you have an AMD CPU and cannot benefit from HAXM Acceleration, so this is something the community has wanted for a long time.

Ooui pronounced “weeee”, is a project by Frank Krueger that he recently started to allow Xamarin.Forms to be used on the web.

Back in January 2017, I was assigned a mentor through the SheSaysMcr Mentoring scheme. I was lucky enough to be introduced to the great Clare Sudbery. Meeting Clare has been fantastic for me. Not only for career advice but also the friendship I have gained with someone wise who is always on hand to help me improve my professional and personal skills. I would recommend getting a mentor to anyone!
