  1. Xamarin in Action — Chapters 2 + 3

I intended to try and space out the posts to one a week or something to avoid bombarding you with too many posts and giving me breathing room to take on the code. But a mixture of excitement, enjoyment of the book and the first chapter being more of a casual introduction, has led me to start writing this, the day after the last one!

In it, James does a quick introduction to the new Xamarin Android Device Manager teased recently in the Xamarin Podcast and online with the long awaited “Instant Boot” feature. Anyone that has tried to use Android emulators knows how slow they can be, especially if you have an AMD CPU and cannot benefit from HAXM Acceleration, so this is something the community has wanted for a long time.

Not only for career advice but also the friendship I have gained with someone wise who is always on hand to help me improve my professional and personal skills. I would recommend getting a mentor to anyone!
